2008 Rural Water Rally - Water and Wastewater issues were brought to
the forefront in Washington, D. C. with Alabama’s Congressional delegation as well as other State Delegations throughout the Nation during the National Rural Water Association Annual Rural Water Rally. Held April 20-22, 2008 in Washington, D.C. over 500 Rural Water Constituents gathered to stress the importance of maintaining a safe clean dependable supply of drinking water while at the same time avoiding more stringent and costly regulatory requirements. - More info and pictures (pdf file) |
