How to Apply for the John A. Garrett Scholarship Fund

In February-March of each year, the ARWA releases an application package for scholarship applicants.
The application must be completed in its entirety and submitted near the end of March (date to be announced in application package). The sponsoring utility must be a current member of the Alabama Rural Water Association.
Eligible applicants
Children of employees of water or wastewater systems, employees of member systems employed two years or longer, ARWA Board of Directors and ARWA staff, children of ARWA Board of Directors and ARWA staff.
ADULTS
- Employees with at least two years of employment with an ARWA member water or wastewater system
- ARWA Staff
- ARWA Board of Directors
STUDENTS
- High School graduates who are children of employees with at least two years of employment with an ARWA member water or wastewater system
- High School graduates who are children of ARWA Board Members or Staff
