Description
The Alabama Rural Water Association is conducting FREE Training Sessions on Source Water Protection.
Drinking water comes from ground water (aquifers), streams, rivers, and lakes. Protecting these drinking water sources is key to sustaining safe drinking water supplies. State and local governments and water utilities play a critical role in protecting source water. They are well positioned to help tailor protective actions to unique local situations. This training will help you in determining your role in assisting your utility with its Source Water Protection Plan.
Maintaining a good quality of life for Alabama citizens is an ongoing objective. Water is a critical resource in this process and the availability of a good safe dependable source of drinking water is a necessity.
This training will be FREE OF CHARGE.
